For the last couple of years i have been a very big fan of floral, but this trend being tirelessly over worked in the shops has ruined my love for it.

Relaxation

After a very stressful year A.K.A third year. I haven't wanted to think about anything fashion related. It was a time to catch up on my sleep, party and just be stress free.

I have now finally woken up from my summery haze though so it's now time to get back to blogging.

Luxure travels to Greece!

I was lucky enough last week to help on a shoot in Greece for Luxure magazine. The issue wont be out till september so i can't really post much on it till then but here are a few backstage shots of the day.

Cara 'very ra!' Delevigne

Here is the front cover of the new Luxure magazine that i was lucky enough to work on, I think this was one of my favorite photo shoots, work wise as there was only one outfit so the day was short and sweet rather than a long hard day.

The model on the front is Cara Delevigne who has featured in love magazine as a young talent to watch but cara's model looks and love for fashion defiantly run in the family with her sister (Poppy) already being a model at the same agency and her mother being the former norman hartnell model Janie sheffeild, her godmother is also the one and only Joan Collins.

I really enjoyed working with Cara, her flamboyant and very ra! personality brought fun and amusement to the day.

Oh the coat we shot was also the coat used in the new Burberry campaign with Emma Watson, which was beautiful in a lilac silk with decorative padded shoulders, this coat will have to go into my fantasy wardrobe!

Roxy Heart Bambi

I get really excited when the big brands help the little people and i get more excited when the collection is amazing and makes me remember that summer isn't far away on this horrible grey day! In this case its Roxy hearts collaboration with Laura Figueras called Roxy heart Bambi by laura.

Roxy Heart has collaborated with Laura Figueras who Graduated from ESDI Barcelona in 2002, Laura debuted her graduate collection at London Fashion Week to a rapturous reception. After work experience at Preen in London, and a spell as head designer at Women’s Secret, she set up Bambi by Laura, a womens wear label focusing on wearable luxury.

The collection itself takes inspiration from the chic version of 1980s’ Hawaii: cocktail parties, palm trees, exotic flowers, parrots, flower necklaces........A collection brought to life by this blending of the exotic and the romantic.

The collection hits stores this week and will be available through selected boutiques including Beyond the Valley, Shop at Bluebird, Supra and no-one in London, as well as my favorite shop in Paris, colette!!

The orange dress with the ruffled back is a needed must for my summer wardrobe!!

lUXURE UPDATE

As you guys already know from my many blog posts about my internship at Luxure Magazine. Our 7th issue was finally released on Tuesday night at the Luxure party which was at Brown's Hotel in London.

The party went amazingly with guests such as illustrator David Downton, Jhonathan knowles, Creative director of British vogue-Robyn Deryk aswell as British Vogues photographer, Stephen Fisher.

I arrived early to help but even with early preparation, we hysterically rushed around to get things finished.

I didn't manage to get many images but i got a few before people arrived.

Todays Photoshoot

Today i assisted for another Luxure Photoshoot. The last time i had worked with them was in the summer, so it was nice to be doing it again. We usually work with just female models, so it was a nice change to work with a male model. It was strange having to help with suits rather than dresses and i had no idea how to do a tie.

I was then lucky enough for the male model to be Liam Wade. Who has worked on Burberry campaigns with lilly Donaldson and Agyness Deyn aswell as converse campaigns with Daisy Lowe and Touring as guitarist for Courtney Love.

It was always fun as always to see the new collections and have a real good look at them, rather than with a snotty sales assistant breathing down your neck. My favourite today was a jenny Peckham Dress.

The shoot was also on a boat on the thames which was also a different experience, being confined to try and shoot in small rooms and work while the boat is swaying.

I'll be able to post images of the shoot when it's released in April/March
